Helminthological Days is a long-standing (almost) annual conference organized by the Helminthological Section of the Czech Society for Parasitology.
Since its foundation in 1992 (see the historical photo and attendance list), the meeting has provided a dedicated forum for researchers studying helminths, including parasitic platyhelminths, nematodes, and acanthocephalans, across a wide range of biological disciplines. The conference traditionally brings together experts in taxonomy, ecology, epidemiology, immunology, molecular biology, and host–parasite interactions.
Helminthological Days is renowned for its friendly and stimulating atmosphere, fostering open scientific discussion and the exchange of ideas among established scientists, early-career researchers, and students. Over the years, the conference has gained increasing international visibility while maintaining strong regional roots.
The 30th edition continues this tradition, offering a platform to present recent advances, foster collaborations, and celebrate three decades of helminthological research and community building.
